Attorney Brown received his B.A. Degree from The Catholic University of America in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1974. He has served as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association and, in 1989 was a member of the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee to the Connecticut Law Revision Commission. He has also served as the Chairperson for the Standing Committee on Workers’ Compensation Certification. Attorney Brown is co-author of an article on Connecticut Workers’ Compensation, which was published by the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has given lectures to representatives of labor and management and to self-insured companies and insurance carriers on various aspects of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act. He has also lectured at seminars conducted by the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association and by the Connecticut Bar Association. Attorney Brown has also served as a fact finder/arbitrator in workers’ compensation matters. Attorney Brown has been included in the editions of The Best Lawyers in America since 1995.
